Aechmea mend – is an “ole time” albo-marginate type Aechmea. The outer edges are pink and slowly meld into a pretty olive green. Mend makes a nice accent plant in the landscape and isn’t overly large at 30 inches tall.
Aechmea ‘Malva’
Aechmea ‘Malva’ – is a new release for the landscape. South Florida is always in need of colorful foliage and blooms. Malva reaches a height of 40 inches with its burgundy foliage and yellow bloom may be just the ticket you’re looking for to set off your landscape job.
Aechmea ‘Jubilee’
Aechmea ‘Jubilee’ – is a variegated landscape variety with bright yellow striping down the center coupled with a bright yellow bloom. Jubilee has a tendency to grow a little more open then other Aechmeas and reaches a height of 40 inches.
Aechmea ‘Galaxy’
Aechmea ‘Galaxy’ – is an attractive albo-marginate type Bromeliad. The outer edge is “white” or cream in color while the center of the leaves are a dark green. The foliage alone makes this plant an “attention getter” in the outdoor landscape.
Aechmea bromelifolia
Aechmea bromelifolia – has a very unique look. The plant is very upright with bronze foliage and leaves that curl. At times it resembles an Agave. Bromelifolia is used primarily for landscape.
Aechmea ‘Flamingo’
Aechmea ‘Flamingo’ – is a Bullis Bromeliad hybrid similar to Aechmea Fantasia except that the blooms are a soft salmon and yellow. Overall the plant reaches a height of 30-36 inches and is used in the landscape or interior. The foliage is mainly green with a light silvery cast.
Aechmea ‘Del Mar’
Aechmea ‘Del Mar’ (P) – is a new patented hybrid from Bullis Bromeliads. Its small green foliage make it a perfect 6 inch plant. Add to that the cobalt blue, white and hot pink bloom and you’ve got a winner. Del Mar is used in both the interior and landscape.
Aechmea ‘Dean’
Aechmea ‘Dean’ – is another large landscape bromeliads reaching a height of 5 feet. Its bronze foliage and reddish tips makes it a show piece in any landscape.
Aechmea ‘Correai Arrugea’
Aechmea ‘Correai Arrugea’ – carries brown/black mottled “spots” on lime green foliage and can reach a height of 30 inches. Used as a landscape plant and often mounted on trees.
Aechmea ‘Big Harv’
Aechmea ‘Big Harv’ – is a product of our hybridizing program. Big Harv is a large plant reaching a height of 48 inches. It carries a large orange/red bloom which sits atop a rosette of bronze foliage. Its primary use is in the outdoor landscape.
