Lovely foliage is always an asset to a plant when one is appraising its value as a garden ornament. That is the reason, I suppose, that experienced gardeners grow globe daisies despite the fact that most small kinds are sparse bloomers. That would be all the more reason, then, why you and I should put. our time and faith in Globularia bellirlifolia, the most profuse bloomer of the rock garden kinds that have been in my trials. It makes a close mat of small, glossy, dark green leaves, over which come many lovely “blue puff balls,” on 3-inch stems, in late spring.
